Biography
Andrew Page is an artist known for the vibrant colour and originality of his illustrations and paintings.
Andrew was born in 1980, Surrey, England, and at the age of one years old he moved with his family to India. Most of his boyhood was spent in an exotic culture surrounded by the wild beauty and rich colours of the east. Andrew´s mother is an amateur artist and his father an amateur photographer. His mother encouraged him to draw and from the age of seven he became enchanted by colour and the magical effects of light.
Returning to England after six years, Andrew settled into a public school after being home schooled for most of his youth. He decided to continue to paint and study in Cornwall where he enrolled in college and after three years he passed with flying colours.
In order to support himself afterwards, he began selling his paintings through local galleries and cafes, and exhibiting his work in various Art fairs and group exhibitions, as well as sketching portraits on the beach and painting private mural commisions around Europe and South Africa. In addition to original seascapes, Andrew also paints a broader range of subjects with deep meaningful themes.
Now Andrew lives in London and is working on a exciting new series of paintings.
